Accessibility Statement

Last updated 1 October 2026

AquaZero aims to make its information and enquiry experience usable by people with disabilities. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the primary reference for ongoing accessibility work.

Current status

Improvements have been implemented, but this website has not been independently certified or verified as fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Known limitations remain, particularly in the films. This statement describes the current website and testing limits.

Work completed

  • Keyboard and screen-reader focus moves to the destination after main section navigation, without additional scrolling.
  • Interactive text contrast and form boundaries have been strengthened using AquaZero colours.
  • Enquiry fields have labels, appropriate autocomplete, persistent validation errors and an error summary.
  • The FAQ uses expandable controls; product options expose selected states.
  • 3D drag and mobile swipe interactions have tap, click or keyboard alternatives, stage information and loading/error announcements.
  • An HTML explanation and WebGL fallback describe essential system stages and the illustrative 000 water-quality reading.
  • Reduced-motion behavior offers a clear static opening and limits nonessential motion.

Known film limitation

The Indoor and Padel films include meaningful visual information about cleaning, equipment, setup and results. They do not currently have a dedicated audio-described version, so people who cannot see the visuals may miss information not communicated through audio.

The cinema viewer provides native controls. No separate caption or audio-description tracks are currently supplied by the website. This statement does not claim the films meet all applicable media-accessibility requirements. Contact us for an explanation of the process or help with the information you need.

Testing and compatibility

Checks have included desktop/mobile layouts, keyboard navigation, focus, form errors, touch controls, reduced motion and responsive reflow/zoom where practical, supported by automated checks and implementation review.

Testing does not cover every screen reader, browser, device or disability. Complete manual screen-reader coverage and independent specialist validation have not been completed. The 3D and glass experiences depend on browser graphics support; the text equivalent is available if WebGL cannot load.
